The practice is committed to ensuring that we comply with not only the letter of the law as laid down in the GDPR but also with the spirit of that legislation. Only information required by us to ensure the health and well-being of your animals will be processed and retained only for as long as necessary. None of the information held by us will be sold, given or otherwise shared with anyone not directly involved with the wellbeing of your animal without your prior consent or in response to a lawful request by a legally empowered body. If you wish to see your personal data held by the practice, then you have a legal right to request that data, and we are obliged to respond as soon as is reasonable, and we will endeavour to do so within two working days.

  • Treatments and costs.

  • Proposed care, including referrals and or any specific consent given.

  • Correspondence about your animals with other healthcare professionals and pet insurance companies.

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us.  We usually send reminders regarding your pet’s vaccinations and preventative care, such as flea and worm treatments.  If you do not want to receive direct communications from us about products and services that may benefit your pet, then you can inform our staff, who will update your choices. 

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text unless you have given your consent. We will not contact you for marketing purposes by post if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted.
